Hi,

Looking for a recommendation for a full cover for summer use. The car goes in the garage over the winter, but it’s a pain getting it in and out of the garage in the summer, as the garage gets taken over by kids bikes, etc, etc.

Needs to be fairly secure as there is a breeze down here pretty much all the time. I tried a shower cap, but where that was flapping about it was beginning to rub on the paintwork. Also needs to go on and off pretty sharpish for the odd trip to work.
Thanks.

Matt

Anyone got the Classic Additions Lightweight cover? If so, how much does it move about in the wind?

Thanks.

Norman, thank you. That looks ideal. No flapping is what I needed to hear.

I have the Classic Additions Stormproof cover (breathable, not 100% waterproof) and that is tailor made for the S and secured under the car by two straps, minimal flapping, all good so far, I also have the Leven waterproof under the CA cover smile

Absolutely agree 100%. Tried other covers, but the Leven Hood Cover is by far the best all round, all-weather, all year solution. (Thanks Norman!) No flapping, no chafing, no leaks at all, no worries at all. Plus a cunning velcro bit even allows access to the drivers door without having to remove the whole thing.....I mean the cover not the door.
Brilliant. Just leave both windows open about 1/2 an inch for air circulation to keep condensation to a minimum. Also if it gets REALLY windy, three bungee straps with plastic hooks give
extra peace of mind. You can even wash the body with the cover still fitted.
Works for mebiggrin
