Dear Sheila

It is always best to have your car serviced regularly so as to avoid embarrassing and inconvenient breakdowns. In these circumstances I recommend either a good thrashing or a jolly good seeing to. Possibly both.

Quality Its a good job when the wife returned home, that she didnt catch her husband .................with his propshaft in his hand.......Know what i mean Kev

Dear Sheila,
It's a long shot, but it could be due to starvation. I had the same problem caused by the kids putting bits of sellotape into the fuel tank, blocking the fuel supply after a mile or so.
It's unlikely to be oil level related, as your husband seems quite handy with the dipstick.
You could follow his example and go for a newer model.
