The 4 yearly event of clutch master cylinder failure has come round once again so I picked up the phone to TVRcarparts. Get well soon mate.

Looking at the code on the unit is seems to be a 0,700 bore unit and I'm guessing that something like this: http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p537/GIRLING-MAS...
would probably be OK?

Search is still down, so anyone know?

Was quoted some time ago (bore 0,7 is correct) :

Powertrack (Telephone: [phone]) also do the seal kit which is usually all you need and a lot cheaper. I also bought a plastic reservoir cap for mine as the old steel one was corroded and a pig to get off.

I think there are plenty of 0.75" master cylinders ( Land Rover Series 3 rings a bell?)around but isn't the issue getting the correct thread on the pipe connection (or changing the fitting on pipe)?


ETA Series 3 Land Rover very cheap on Ebay but 0.9" (make clutch slightly "heavier", maybe not noticeable?)

Have mailed Powertrack will see if they have one.

There seems to be many 0,7 inchn units that all look identical apart from the actuating rod.
Most seem to be a standard 3/8 unf outlet too.
Last time it was the return spring that had broken up and the bore was rather scratched.


Edit to add - Ex stock from Powertrack price nearer 70 inc VAT now. Another job for the weekend.
