TVR S2 Door mirrors

Morning people's
I am have problems replacing the door mirrors on my S2 and someone said they saw one with door mirrors from a mk1 VW Golf (and the guy said he can even see out of them !) ,What is the general thoughts on this ?

Mirror change is probably one of the best upgrades tou can make. Favourite choice seems to be mk1 MX5, but there are many others. Just make sure you buy something with a base large enough to cover the existing holes if you don't want door respray. Plenty of threads on mirror choice and fitting if the seach engine is up.

Why do you want to see where you've been? .......Only kidding, There might be another TVR behind you wishing to overtake, but wondering if it would be considered unseemly to do so........Naah, just gopher it! MX5 mirrors are the norm I believe.

I`m in the process of changing mine too, I have got Tasmin electric mirrors fitted at the mo`. The nearside was taken out by a crow a short while ago and it`s never been the same, cracked glass and slow to adjust, I now have a set from a Mitsubishi Carisma and they are electric too ;.
