Does anyone know if Cerbera rear shocks will fit my 1988 S1? As there are some on eBay, if not can anyone recommend replacement adjustables on a budget
Thanks

Given that it is a completely different type of suspension system on a much much heavier car, the chances of the dampers being the right dimensions or damping characteristics are slim to none. There are various places selling cheap dampers for the S series (Spax, Koni, AVO, Gaz etc) and places also selling rather nicer dampers that work significantly better (but costing more). It's up to you to find a balance between your budget and the car's ride quality and handling. If the rear dampers are worn out, the front dampers will not be much better. Mixing new and old dampers, especially with different spec dampers, is a very bad idea. Two new and two old but working dampers may be legal, but is much less safe than four old working dampers.
