In order to stop the inside of my s1.5 looking like a small goldfish pond I need some assistance please!

Point 1 - How does the roof panel seal sit in relation to the apex of the window frame, inside, outside or on top ?
Point 2 - Following on from the above what is the best method of adjusting the frame ?
Point 3 - If the door needs a good slam to insure correct alignment how can the door drop be rectified assuming the retaining nuts are not loose. Are the bolts from the two hinges adjustable, since these appear rather long !

Thanks in advance. Maybe I need to spy another S around Wiltshire (A dry one that is!) to stop me running out with the umbrella every time it spits with rain!

My roof seals sit on top of the glass. I have sealed around the rubber with black silicone. Finally, coat the roof in Fabsil every 6 months. Problem solved!
(I wish!)

My roof seal sits tightly inside the glass with the top "fold" of the roof material sitting over the top of it to form a lip for the water to run off.. no real leaks at all although I have found that if I rush the roof fit and don't get it quite "square" then it leaks in the middle somewhere..

Cheers
Matt.

Can I assume that this is standard, panel seal inside the window, if so how does the frame sit against the seal as presumably there must be a gap between window, frame and seal ??!??

Cheers

Phil.. worked out what you are asking now the Ally Frame is directly under the seal on my car, but kind of pushed inwards as you shut the door...

I'll take a digi-photo or two if its of some help..

That would be fantastic. I don't want to start bending the frame if I haven't got a clue how the window/frame meets with the roof panel seal.

Oh yeah

I was trying to show where the seal sat with that bit of the roof out of the way...
