So, out of interest, what are the performance figures of this when compared to a std V6 and normally asperated 4 ltre V8?
According to Graham Robson's book, the standard V8S produced 240 bhp @ 5750rpm and 275 lb.ft @ 4200rpm. The figures for the supercharged 2l are 223 bhp @ 6200rpm and 196 lb.ft @ 3700rpm.So I would guess that the Italian stallion performed somewhere in between the English V6 and V8 carthorses.

Sleeved down V8 and allegedly the reason for the hump on the bonnet of the V8S (to accomodate the height of the supercharger in cars such as these)
