Rudolph (see X-mas thread re: car naming), my dearly beloved S1 left home today, but this time it's for good, and I'm not at the wheel, with the biggest cheesiest grin on my face.

I'm pleased to say he's gone to a loving home near Oxford, where he'll pampered and spoilt (is it possible to do it more than I did?).

No doubts you'll continue to hear the exploits of Rudolph, and I wish Andrew all the very best.

I have already pointed Andrew in the direction of Pistonheads, along with the TVR CC Oxfordshire region, and some useful contacts.

I'd like to thank you all for your friendship and support and banter - it's made the TVR experience even better than I ever imagined.

I will still come back here quite a bit, and will again return to the fold, once Kinky Junior is old enough to warrant it.

Time to downgrade now to a 5-door Scooby Turbo.

Thanks all.

Kinky

P.S. - yes I did wave him off down the road
P.P.S - yes I did shed a tear.

Well so ends a chapter...

All the best mate!!

I am sorry that I have caused such distress Mark/Kinky but you are right in assuming the car("Rudolph") has gone to a good home. It had a wipe down yesterday after its long journey and is now sitting in a clean dry garage. All is well.
I have tried to email you Lee , obviously unsuccessfully, do get in touch.
