Yeah, but the steering wheels upside down and on the wrong side, and some "oik" has had the radio away

the more time i spend with you lot up there the tighter i get....must be catching. I did notice a lot of churches being circular in shape last time i was up there, is that so you can't hide in the corners during the collection.

Anyway I'm not tight, it's just a reputatation i'm building on to stop people asking me for money!

From the text it looks like it's in Italy, so I wonder if that is the one that last year's Euro Trip to "Carlo" was supposed see, but never appeared.

Being specifically for the Italian market, it's most likely to be in Italy...

It's not Carlo's though, unless it's been re-sprayed - his was black.

To my shame I always thought that the 2 Litre V8 S series was a spoof - until I read this.

In real terms how much taxation did it save - kit car Lotus Elans I can understand but this exercise seems like cutting a leg off a racehorse and then feeding it amphetamines to make it run faster...

Belive done for the Italian market where large capacity engines had large tax penalty. Best think about it was the bonnet hump which TVR kept for the V8S.

[Le TVR]

Lotus also did a scaled down 2 litre version of the Esprit for Italy.

AFAIK there were only 3 of these V8S models ever made.
