Another one back on the road!

Eleven months after starting the strip down (to repair the chassis etc) my V8s passed it's MOT and is now back on the road! Just missed the heatwave, but am looking forward to driving it again.

The rebuild was made so much easier by the wealth of advice and information on this forum. Particularly Chris' well documented rebuild which I refered to many times and Norman's quick responses to questions.

Well done Matt. Great to hear of another one saved rather than broken for bits.
Now it's all sorted I'm sure that you'll get many years of happy motoring.

Went out for a brief drive round the block this evening, but need to increase damper setings as the ride is too soft. New springs, shocks and bushes have transformed the whole feel of the car though.

Certainly hope to get to SCH2012 and other events next year.
