digital tyre pressure gauges

So how much should I spend?
A quick browse on Ebay and they seem to start at a couple of quid (too cheap?)mid range around £6-7 and top end over £20 for a round thing, like a gauge but digital display, on the end of a flexible pipe.

Mid-range accurate/reliable enough for day 2 day use?

I've never found the digital ones as good as the old analog ones, I have an old Jag one where the bit pops out the end and its always spot on.

thats the type I use at the moment (not a Jag one), good as anything then?

The digital ones for me don't always give the same reading on the same wheel - whereas the analog one does. Plus the battery can't run down on the analog one!

£4.99 from Halfords, key ring type, compared it to the calibrated ones as work and it was 100% spot on.

Liking that Michelin keyring one - and I think its a great idea on your keyring you're more likely to use it.

If you can make do with a digital gauge then the Sykes Pickavant ones were very accurate in a magazine test a while back. There are some on ebay at the moment and they're the same unit but badged for Halfords. I have one in each car and they all read exactly the same time after time.

Decision made, well sort of....

Bought a couple of the Michelin ones to go in glove boxes and a Halfords / Pickavant one for the tool box !

nothing as posh as Clas Ohlson in Redditch but we have got a Lidl and an Aldi!
