its a small world!

Got collared into being "taxi" boy for my parents last night, they were off to an old friends 60th birthday party. Anyway, they suggest when i pick them up, i come early, bring the wife as their old friend hasnt seen me since knee high...... i can see it now.....party full of old biddies sipping cherry through false teeth, saying oh havent you grown, i remember you when you was just a baby.......but then i remember thay had children my age and think, i bugger lets bite the bullit and make my mums day.... so having dropped em off, i return around 9pm to see a stunning jag 4.2 outside, me thinks, great at least a petrolhead is in there......door opens to be greeted by their younger son (32) who i havent seen for donkeys years.....into the kitchen for a coke and the conversation turns to the jag..... apparently his father always wanted one, so he hired it for him for a few days, turns out they've been to brands hatch all day for a classic meet....evening getting better....then he casually mentions that hes got a TVR!! stuff me..... go down the garage to see hes 390 SE..... hes in the TVR club too! i mention "pistonheads" to him, only to hear how he followed a group from here down to le mans last year! so all in all a top night with another TVR nutter! ... now the chances of that.........
