Well after
much time thinking about it I've taken the plunge & bought my first TVR a 1990 S2
Thanks very much to Deeman for making the purchase easy & for driving the car up to Birmingham before
I carried on another 200 miles to the Northeast.
Car ran like a dream all the way home, can I always expect this from a TVR?!

It was good to meet you.
Despite all the TVR doom mongers out there (not on this forum I might add) , this S2 has never let me down other than the occassional hot start which isnt the end of the world. The car basically drove nearly 500 miles that day, which is testament that its a work horse not a show horse.
I hope you have as much fun doing it up as I did and the car ultimately gets back to it former glory.
Oh yes - make sure you update the owners list on here with your details.

TVR Car parts are a good source of bits, but to be fair the forum members here have a solution/advice for everything (including those indicators lenses!!!)_

Welcome and please be active on here. If you have any issues use the search and check the FAQ and the useful links above which will point you to most repeatedly asked questions and also to many of the owners websites where alot of us have picture story books and "how to" pages. If these checks don't help then post a question and we'll answer it I am sure
You'll love it these cars are Smiles better than your normal hack and you don't need to go too fast to experience the thrill of driving
