Just a thought ...but isn't it great we have so many new owners to the TVR S family.
As said in many previous posts this is one of the best car forums about and supported by so many knowledgeable friendly owners. These cars appeal to young and old alike it's great to be part of the 'S' family

I agree 100%, I have been active on this forum for 3.5 years now and in that time it has been invaluable, inevitably people have come and gone in that time but that's good, I currently have my S for sale and am going through a heart verses head time wether I shoud actually sell it or not, and one of the key reasons for keeping it is the S forum, long may it continue.

If we are talking about newbies, please allow me to introduce myself.
I have lurked on the S forum for a couple of months since I have bought an S3 to do up. I never intended it to be a total strip down project but you know how it is. I also have another TVR which I've owned for over 5 years so I'm not new to TVR ownership.
My S3 has been off the road for a couple of years before I bought it and possibly off the radar for a long time although the previous owner was a TVRCC member, if only for a year.
I just missed the thread which I could add this pic:-
It could have made a comedy thread.
This is the car the moment it was unloaded from the trailer.
The following day.
The end of the long weekend.
Note the really bad outriggers and the bodge job where someone tried to repair the N/S corner by inserting a piece of copper pipe and then covered it over to fool the MOT station.

That's cheating!!!!!!! Engine and gear box removal to get the prop off I reckon is potentially easier than trying to get it off leaving the engine in place....
