I dont think it is the right kit, master cylinder only has two outlets but its possible that some form of Y piece might do the trick. If you are interested get him to post a photo of the pedal side to see if it looks OK. Just got the impression that it could be a no go

Thats about the going rate - I got the proper genuine TRW/Lucas one from http://www.brakeparts.co.uk delivered for £80ish

I can't look on their database here in the office it is blocked, but I do remember it was listed for a diesel fiesta van, about the same vintage as the TVR's early 90's if that helps.

Got to agree with Norman, and even go a bit further. I would expect it to be a 'no go', we spent a lot of time looking through manufacturers parts lists to find servo/mastercylinder combinations that would fit. Remember that it is ESSENTIAL that the performance is the same, and that means checking bore and stroke, relative positions of outlets, type of connection to pedal etc. I would stick very firmly to the specific ones identified from the earlier research which included TRW's advice. There is a possible insurance issue here about adaptations.
