Paint code

Hi

The body code on my S3C is P422 1934B. I know P422 is either Atlas Grey or Storm Grey. Can anyone confirm. I'm hoping to get some touch up paint for the odd stone chip. Any ideas where I can get some? I don't need a litre can, just touch up kit - the sort of thing you'd get from Halfords.

Have just today had a reply from Paints4u.com saying they can provide touch up paint for my S3C.

My paint code is P422 9857 and it's a metallic green/blue, so not sure if the P422 is the important bit?

Haven't ordered the paint yet so no guarantees!

I think P422 is the composition of the paint - the other numeric bit is the colour. If Malcolm (Potato Muncher) is about he may enlighten us. If not send him a PM he's helpful. Chris.

These are ICI (now PPG NEXA Autocolor) paint codes.
"P422-line is an acrylic basecoat colour system, which used in combination with recommended Nexa Autocolor 2-pack clearcoats offers a hard and durable finish with superb gloss and coverage suitable for all types of repair work."

Atlas Grey is: P422-1028B. From your profile pic it looks like Storm Grey, the same as Piston Ted's old S4.
