Cool or seriously naff ?

As part of my refurb, I'm redesigning the dashboard a bit. I was talked into adding an engine start button so here is my modified version. What do you think, I'm undecided ? The rest of the gauges/switchgear will have alloy bezels.

Okay, here goes then. Before I realised the car was an S I thought you were using the "new" logo that appears at tvr.com, which I'm not keen on. Then I realised (when I saw it was an S) that this is likely the original TVR badge and therefore right for the car's vintage. Yes?

I'd love to say it was the correct vintage but this logo was used on earlier cars than the S. I'm not massively fussed about 'originality' on TVRs and I'm going for a bit of a mish-mash but I do like to keep it all in the overall TVR family. Dials are from a Chimeara, seats froma Cerbera. Truth is, I just like the logo and I think it looks better than 'ENGINE START' which was on the button before.

I think it looks great, but why not make it flash red and have "DANGER Do not push this if you're a wimp" written on it?

I know 'start buttons' are not to everyone's taste, the argument being why have a button to press after you've already turned the key to position one, but personally I think they add a bit more theatre and anticipation to the thrill you get before starting the 'S'.
Maybe its just me and if I used mine as a daily drive I'd get fed up with having to press it but I only drive mine when the weathers fine (I know I'm prepared for the abuse!!!) so I think its looks great and If I was confident enough to do the wiring I'd already have one myself especially as its different to the bright red Honda S2000 style ones that seem to be the norm.

If you get the chance and its not massively complex I'd be grateful if you could pm me the details for the wiring or point me in the right direction of some. Thanks

think it looks good! though Id also like to see what either the normal TVR logo looks like or even the bulldog logo that was on alot of keyrings!

If you had it so you had to turn the ignition to position 3 and press the button it would give you a bit of extra security.

Don;t think the "Bulldog" was an official TVR logo but something used by one of their distributors as a kind of trade mark ?
