OK Guys, after answering all my questions last week, you have persuaded me to take the plunge into S2 and TVR ownership..... I had a very nice testdrive in a 1989 S2.... I'm still smiling... Purchase agreed and will pick up the car next week...... So.... you lot got me into this, so what do I do next? I have found insurance for £200! (How much!?!) I would like to join the TVRCC and attend my local meets and get TVR involved! I'm based in the top of North Yorkshire! I know I just missed the SCH2011, but still want to get involved! I'm sure I'll be asking loads of stupid questions over the coming days / weeks/ months / years. Also bought the Steve Heath Bible, so that's a good start.....what next?

Guys I'm getting too excited about this, I can't wait until next Monday when I collect the car .... I'm in my 40's .... I shouldn't be getting these feelings about a car.... a girl maybe, but not a car!!! But that engine noise ..... fantastic! Insurance sorted at £200 for 5k miles a year and free track day cover! I think that's a great price! .... Is it 4th July yet?
Name's on there! One of the first things I did, wanted the world to know! Loved TVR's since I first rode in my uncles Vixen when I was 7 and had dreamt of having one since so needless to say I haven't stopped smiling since May!
Ozzie, the wait is the hardest part but it'll be worth it! I test drove mine, paid the deposit and then had to wait two weeks, due to work commitments and working away, until I could pick it up. Longest two weeks of my life!

I've just added my details to the wiki too. Maybe it's a bit premature as I haven't paid for the car yet, but the guy I bought it from is great, it's been well loved and cared for, so, fingers crossed all goes well, and I should be driving back to Bedale on Monday morning! Then, a bit like you Pete, I have a business trip for 10 days .... no car :-( Knowing my luck I'll get back and the usual British summer will have set in and I'm only going to take her out when it's dry! She (Arrgh, sweet, I'm already thinking she is a she and not an it!) has not been registered on the wiki site before, so there is no duplication.
Now I'm away for 10 days work and missing the car more than the wife / kids / dog / etc.
