Handbrake Ratchet Bolt.

Greetings all

Just getting to the point of putting the body back on my S2 after a chassis rebuild.

I wondered if anyone could confirm how the hand brake lever ratchet is bolted to the chassis (NOT the pivot - that's the splined shaft with a pinch bolt that actuates the cable in the transmission tunnel).

The ratchet bolt hole is blocked up with powder coat / zinc at the moment so I'm not quite sure whether it's a threaded hole or whether the bolt goes all the way through and a nut goes on the back. I figured sorting this out before I put the body on would be easier than getting swarf all over the interior! - Not that the interior is concours!

There's a threaded hole in the chassis. A spacer fits into a hole in the body between the chassis and the handbrake lever.

Or at least that's what it's like on my v8
