Do you need to drain petrol tank as suggested in the bible to change the fuel filter - cant you just clamp the pipe and swap in the new filter ?........Also where is the best place to buy one(S3C)......cheers Andy

I didn't have to when I changed it on my S1 last year. I only had to allow for the small amount of fuel which dropped out of the filter after disconnecting the fuel feed line.

Andy,

You dont need to drain the fuel tank to change the filter.

I think I paid about £16 for the filter last time - I've lost the part number though - sorry

Cheers,

Dave.
