Martin Lilley !! We went to a M-series meeting organised by the Dutch TVR Club where he was invited. A real pleasure to meet him in person ! Beautiful cars, scenery and weather He even signed my copy of "Success against the odds".

I've met Martin a few times - he does turn up to TVR events and as well as being interested to look round he is happy to chat to people. Nice guy - he's now Patron of the TVRCC as well.

Hi in Scotland a chap came he had a M V 6 turbo only 2 made he said nice car

I've met him several times and can confirm just how nice a chap he is and how willing he is to chat for a few minutes.

Although we can never be sure how much were produced it seems a few more were made.

According to the Collectors guide from Graham Robson (and also TVRCC Oxfordshire site) :

3000M Turbo : 20
Taimar Turbo : 30
Convertible (3000S) Turbo : 13

The car in the pic is a wide bodied turbo SE, the factory made only 4 SE's, 3 Taimars and 1 3000S, that car is a 3000M Turbo which was returned to the factory at a later date to be modified to SE spec, IIRC this one was done for David Field (one half of David Gerald TVR) another 3000M was done to this spec in red.
