Thought I'd share some pictures of fellow PH'er MrChips' lovely Tuscan S which he'd only picked up 3 weeks ago and I shot on Wednesday evening.

its nice and evenly lit for an outdoor shoot

It's shot completely different from how I'd do it in a studio. All of the images (apart from the headlight shot) are multiple shots, each using only a single off camera flash gun, combined in Photoshop.

Nice set Martin, the only thing that bugs me is the uneven (in terms of position rather than level) lighting in number 4.

The rest are bang on though.

Is it difficult to blend the shots in Photoshop?

Dogsey - That lack of symmetry on shot 4 niggles me now, might have to reprocess it.

Adam - the processing is fairly straightforward: appropriate images from the shoot are selected and loaded as separate layers into PS, then the blend mode for each layer set to lighten and layer masks applied as required. It's just rather time consuming, shots 1 and 2 above each took 2 to 3 hours work in PS.

Just to add my thanks to Martin for these. I've been amazed with the car since picking it up so it's nice to have some good shots to go with it. The pics look absolutely superb and I can see one or two getting printed up for the garage wall
If only I hadn't already booked my wedding photographer then I may have been knocking down Martins door!
