Can anyone recommmend an 'easy use' edit program?

Define "edit"? Colour / level / exposure adjustments, or cloning, heavy duty editing?

If the former, then Lightroom.

Yep. Picassa. From google, free, easy, good.

BD Depending on what you require from your Editing programme, I can recommend Roxio Photoshop10 (came free on my computer) and most certainly Gimp, but you'll have to watch the tutorials on Youtube, it is a surprisingly powerful tool for it being free.

Picasa is about the easiest and free, tho with limited editing and results.

Also look at windows live gallery, paint.net, gimp if you want over the top complexity.

For paid lightroom is probably the best.

The new and improved version of Faststone is an excellent free PP software package and is very easy to learn and use.
