Time lapse - software to animate jpgs?

Just bought a remote shutter release with timer for my D70s and fancy experimenting with time lapse photography.

I know I could use Windows Movie Maker or Vegas or something, but is there something simpler and quicker? Give it a directory of pics and a frame rate/resolution and it puts it all together?

I use either pro show gold or Premier. Did one today but weather has been v hazy. Will try again tomorrow.

Quicktime Pro is also quite good for a quick way of putting together image sequences.

JPGVideo is simple and free: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/jpgvideo.html

Lets you save using different codecs if necessary.

You can also do it in Windows Movie Maker - load all the pictures, select them all and change the duration according to the frame rate you want, ie 0.04 seconds for 25fps.

Doesn't want to work on W7. Last updated in 2002 so not really surprising I guess!

It does work on windows 7, as I used it today. If you are running 64-bit then that might be why.

Nope, 32 bit. It just beeps at me and won't start up.

I use Time Lapse Assembler (free from memory)

Really easy to use, fast to process but with few settings available - it created the following from about 750 photo's......

This is brilliant. I downloaded it at lunchtime and took a 15 minute time lapse of me stuffing my face.

i used it to show my partner how long she actually takes to get ready.. she didnt look impressed as she watched the time lapse nudity that had been secretly filmed

Saw your tweet of that, Get. Like the effect so much I've just downloaded the app. Looks like it should be good for waiting around in the airport or train station...

(have to find some sort of stable holder or something with a tripod bush to hold the iPhone with though?)

Also downloaded this today and is an amazing app, stream'd from my phone to Apple TV2 is brilliant.

I really wanted to like JPGvideo but it just doesn't work for me - wrong aspect ratio, seemingly random cropping, strange colourations...

Now using Windows Moviemaker which is struggling on a laptop with 2GB running Win7 but is giving reasonable results!
