Not been out and about with the camera for a while. Just bought a new mountain bike, which got delivered this morning, and gf suggested I join her and a couple of mates on a hack. Cue a few hours cycling after horses, opening and closing gates, trying to avoid lamb ste and enjoying some fantastic countryside, views and company. Back at the yard, took a couple of shots of the animals around the place.

Here was my weekend. Website (well, 30 websites, all branched from the main www one) going live in 3 weeks. Only 35,000 pages to contend with, no pressure. The last 6 months on this project have been mental. Roll on the holidays (and a new website to build).



Did get out to wash the car late this afternoon, including claybar, Zymol etc. Just didn't get a chance to take any photos of it

Spent around 4 hours giving my new (to me) car a good clean today.

Started off with a lovely walk on Stanage Edge to watch the sun go down.



Then today I went up to a Children's Hospice in Sheffield with some friends to hand over lots of dosh we had raised for them. The kids were amazing!



All-in-all, it was a great weekend.

Went to Berlin for a stag, but covered a bit of sightseeing too. Great city. I was impressed, I left the DSLR at home and shot these with my Nikon compact.

Fancied a drive, so a bought a modest new lens (Tamron 10-24) and popped over to Dungeness. Not been there before - quite something! Lots of camera snobbery too - felt a bit out of place once or twice: no full-frame, no L-series lens, etc

Anyhoo, quite pleased with the haul, of which these are a subset. Go easy on me, I'm just a keen amateur.

Well this weekend my daughter Indi rode her bike today without stabilisers which was fantastic.

Had a great day outside all day playing and having a traditional UK BBQ having fought the crowds at Sainsburys this morning.

Now sitting outside relaxing. The kids are in bed and life doesn't get much better than this.....
