New camera needed, ideas please :)

My camera has finally given up the ghost.

I'm looking for a basic point and shot camera, around £100.
I know it's not a lot, but it is my budget i'm afraid
2nd hand cameras are absolutely fine.

Any ideas on a decent camera?

Normally when I'm walking the dogs, or days/nights out with friends.
I don't use it that much, hence the low budget.

The canon compacts are good. I got my daughter one recently - its small, good lens, takes good pictures in all conditions and movies too.

I've got a Ricoh CX1 for when I want to trouser a camera, it is great.

I just picked up a Canon A480 from the Canon Outlet on ebay. £27 as new (looks new to me!). It's pretty basic and not quite as small as the IXUS range, but sounds like it would be fine for you. I'm sending mine up attached to a weather balloon so I wanted cheap (in case I don;t get it back!), lightweight and able to run from AA Lithium cells.
