Cheapest place to buy Canon 550d + lens kit

Just after a bit of help regarding purchasing a 550d with lens kit. Originally was looking at purchasing from Jessops but since then the price has gone up to well over £650 and can't really afford that.

A company called Panamoz have it for £496 but heard some VERY mixed reviews- some saying they recieved the UK spec model within 4 or 5 days and all was well, but some reviewers saying it was a very dodgy service, no phonecalls were answered etc. I just tried calling myself before with the same outcome.

Can anybody please suggest where is best to look to buy either online or instore, can't stretch much further than £570 and would like to budget a SDHC card into that too. I'm a bit wary about alot of the stores I've seen online, especially as I don't want the Japanese version turning up without warranty.

CameraPriceBuster have the cheapest bundle at £599 (Warehouse Express).

Thought about a reconditioned or secondhand one? The Canon Outlet has them for well uder £500 currently.

You could try emailing kerso ([e-mail]) for a price as well. He's well known on photography forums and will supply a UK invoice that Canon accept should it ever need a warranty repair.

I have an immaculate 17-55mm kit lens up for sale on the PH classifieds (it came with my 550D)

So if you find a cheap body only, my kit lens is only £50





Also a 75-300 IS lens, also immaculate. £250

Bought a 450D from here a few months ago and it turned up the next day. The 550D with the kit lens is £579.99
