Recommend something cheap?

I'm just after a cheap £100'ish digital camera, and wondered if there any obvious recommendations within this budget.
I'm currently trawling through trustedreviews.com, however there's a lot of choice for the novice

I've got a P&S in the Samsung NV series like the one above. Decent cameras, nice and small, with manual controls. The button/input system looks complicated but its actually very simple and intuitive.

The others that I've read decent reviews on are:

- Panasonix Lumix DMC FS-62 and FS11
- Samsung ST70

Well that's so far anyway

Any thoughts on the above, are there brands/models that should be avoided, or are the compacts from well known manufacturers at this price all pretty similar?

Nikon s3000/4000

I've been reading on Trusted Reviews and the stand out cameras at this price seem to be the 3 I've already mentioned plus Fuji Z700EXR and Lumix FS10.
It seems these all get decent scores on the above site, so has anybody got experience of them?
Cheers for the heads up on the Nikons, I'll see if I can find a bit more info on those.
