Wanted it specifically for macro stuff but looks like it can remote fire speedlights too... ideas for fun stuff using that feature?

Had a play last night (results in Random thread) and only slight wrinkle I found was that the receiver, when on camera, blocks the lift of the on-board flash (wanted to use this to control the speedlight as it's a Nikon)... got round it by reversing the receiver on the shoe (it could just hang loose as comms with the camera is by the lead). Dont poke yourself in the eye when composing if you do the same

1) I probably wouldn't be using onboard flash with speedlights.
2) I don't have an onboard flash

Was only trying as I have just the one receiver and wanted to remote release the shutter whilst also using off camera flash... can feel another receiver coming on already
