Canon 450D for £100- too good to be true?

I've been looking around for an Digital SLR camera recently. I have noticed getting a good one is quite pricey, and I am short on cash at the moment. My plan was to save up until I found Canon SLR's at prices like this:

I have had a go on a Canon EOS 450D at college and think its just what I am looking for, but do you think I would regret buying one at this price? Does anybody know what issues could crop up buying one at this price? Or are there any superior second hand buys in the SLR camera range?

The buyer looks OK, with 100% positive feedback and the camera looks good in the photos shown.

With over 4 days left on the auction, I bet it will sell for a lot more than the current bid price - it would be a bargain if it went for that!

To give you an idea on what the price will likely end up on, I payed £475 for a 450D with 2 lenses yesterday.

Yeah thats got quite a way to go price wise.

you might want to look for the canon outlet on ebay, they sell refurbished stuff with a warranty. It is actually canon themselves. Just had a look and they have no SLRs just at the moment, but they do get through quite a bit of stuff so check regularly. http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/canon_uk1/
