Lens problem

Hi,

The kit lens on my 350d has started acting up.

Symptoms are that it will auto focus so far then appear to get stuck, if i flick it into manual focus and alter the focus, then put it back into auto it will work for a short time before becoming stuck again.

Does aynone have any suggestions on how I might fix it?

Tim, the 350D has been around for a while and therefore the kit lens is likely to be none IS. If that is the case then it's probably time for an upgraded lens and forget the old one. The later 18-55IS is quite a big improvement on it's predecessor.
