Anyone got one of these, thinking of purchasing one? Just wondered what peoples thought's were on them? On ebay you can get one pretty cheap but american version's. Just wondered if there are any downsides in purchasing a ntsc one?

I'm quite tempted by an X100 too. I reckon they'll be nearer the £7-800 mark than the current £999 for pre-order.

I bought my wife an E-PL1 earlier this year and since then I've also used it a fair bit myself. I've been pretty impressed with it so far. It makes a decent alternative to my D700 when I want something lighter to carry around. Controls are OK - I tend to shoot it mostly on Aperture priority or Manual and find the controls reasonably intuitive. Build quality is very solid - it may not be all metal but feels very sturdy. Overall, I'd say image quality is comparable to an entry level SLR. The big thing I was impressed with is how good the JPEGs are - they usually only need a little light touching up in post processing.
