Jerky playback on Keyfob camera

After managing to lose my old keyfob camera I replaced it with a new one from ebay and bought an 8gb, class 4 kingston memory card to go with it. The thing is as you can see from this video the playback is very jerky where as with the old camera and similar card class it was pretty smooth and decent quality for the money.

So would it be a faulty camera or would it be the Kingston memory card that would be causing the poor play back?

Mine was bought from Amazon but through Gomemory but you would hope that it would be a good quality seller if Amazon are using them.

Tis really annoying as I was looking forward to using the camera in south Wales tomorrow

I had the same problem with my MP80 videorecorder - solutin is you need at least a class 6 micro sd card. Oh and make sure it's a genuine class 6. Ebay sellers are not the most reliable in this respect. You only get what you pay for

only get a 4gb card. The key fob camera battery only lasts an hour and that is about 4gb.

I have a USB chrager for the car so battery life usually isnt too much of an issue

Could do with a cheap lap top though for when im away an need to make space on the card and to make sure its all recorded ok!

if the seller has too much negative feedback , they are they thrown off. and it does not take a lot

Dump the class 4 and get a faster card. Should sort the problem.

How long does it record for and how long does the battery last?

Yea its the same as that but on ebay they it is just under a 5th of the price if you can wait a couple weeks for it to turn up from the far east.

The battery can last a couple hours though ive yet to find out exactly how long one will actually last for.

Put a class 6 card in and its still very jerky so it must be a faulty camera as a class 4 was fine on my last camera I had.

Great looks like ive gotten involved with a dodgy ebay seller. Ive complained that the playabck isnt good enough but they feel it is fine as they have replied with this email...

Take it from me, it's not worth spending any more time and money on. The Chinese are experts when it comes to avoiding responsibility for anything which might go wrong and there is no way it's worth sending one of those things back to China for any reason whatsoever. They cost about 50p to manufacture!

Just buy another one and put it down to experience.

There are 9 different versions of these cameras, all with different specs/quality. They all look the same though - Maybe your 'old' and 'new' cameras were actually completely different.
