Advice on going back to film

In short don't have a DSLR but do have a recently rediscovered Canon EOS 300v 35mm camera with two EOS EF lenses (a 18-55mm & and mkIII USM 70-300mm)

I have a couple of non DSLR digitals, both fujifilm finepixs; a 12mp compact and a one pseudo dslr (a S9600), I have grown to loathe the shutter delay and inability to take decent pictures in low light and/or action shots.

I have ordered some film on amazon via sendercity (3x Fujifilm 400 Superia) and picked up a couple of new CR2 batteries.

My view is that for the 200 snaps I'll take a year the cost of film (£20) and processing (?) it's not worth buying a new Canon DSLR body to make use of my EF lenses.

Does anybody have any recommendations as where to buy film and get it processed, I don't really need the film transferred in to prints but would like some fairly hi-res digital files. Also is their any specific film I should be looking at, for what I want it for, ie. in doors(low light) and outside action I think i'll need a 400 rating and the fujifilm was the first triple pack I found.

If you don't need it in a rush, 7-day shop are pretty good for film.

I use Peak Imaging for processing. They have a pretty quick turnaround, and they'll do the scanning to CD as well.

Peak Imaging here as well. I just buy cheap film from ebay, there's a seller on there called discountfilmsdirect who are pretty decent

film from Calumet and Club 35mm for processing. I tried several and they ended up with the right price quality combination. I found Peak over priced. Particularly as their HQ scans were poor quality and when discussing with them were 'take it or leave it' so I stopped using them
