Quick 550D question

Quick slice of advice please guys.

I picked up my 550D today (wahey) and I'm just messing around with it, getting used to settings etc.

Anyway, I'm using a rubbish SD card until I get a new one tomorrow and as a result, the vidoes are writing faster than the card can accept.

So I've heard this can be a problem even with better cards, so can anyone recommend me a good one that will allow me to film high quality videos with out getting this issue please?

You can't really go wrong with Sandisk :-

I use the Compact Flash version though !!!

+1 for Sandisk. Use them as my main cards (albeit CF) for the 7D and also as SD cards in my IXUS. Never had a problem with them writing video to in the 7D at full resolution (30MB/S cards).

Another thumbs up for sandisk. Check your manual for writing speeds, and buy a card with matching speeds.
