Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust - Open Day 10th Oct 2010

I noticed a thread in the Lounge a few days ago (later moved to another section of the forum) that gave details of the annual Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust open day. After visiting their website and also checking with the Mrs that she didn't have any plans for us that she 'forgot' to mention I decided we should take a run through.

At least it would give the DSLR a wee bit of use, instead of it sitting on the shelf as an ornament.

So - here are a few pics - all taken with me EOS400D with a Canon 28-135mm IS USM Lens. Some on automatic mode, some on manual settings, some tweaked in PSE afterwards, some left alone.

I've been having a nosey around your flickr earlier this evening and there's quite a selection of vehicles on show.

I assume these were taken on the lens you bought off me............if so, seems to be doing a fine job

They were indeed Martin. Rarely off the camera these days. Loved your Westminster Abbey shots on flickr too!

Cheers Mike, yea I was surprised my Mrs was up for a trip to what can only be described as a bus depot but I think the she thought the wee yin would enjoy it, which she did.

It's a cracking lens and clearly in good hands

I was lucky with my London shots, the composition wasn't as good as the final result (if you know what I mean!)

Glad you had a good day oobster. I seem to have dodged your lens through the day but some good photos in there.

I ended up too busy driving buses to get many photos!
