I have purchased a "Spyder 3" Colour calibration "thingie". On the front of the packaging it suggests that it is suitable for "CRT LCD and Laptop". However, when I opened the packaging and took out the "Spyder", there is a slip of paper that shows a CRT with a green tick, and a LCD with a red stop sign.

Is anybody here familiar with the product? My screen is, like all modern screens, an LCD. I don't want to break any more seals, or install the software if it isn't going to work.

Thanks

Don

I'm only guessing based on my Spyder2...

There is an 'add on' that comes with it to go over the front to to the suction cups sticking to an LCD. I am assuming this might be what the tick is referring to?
