Entering a competition - need to enrol the might of PH
Discussion
Right then, the situation.
I am entering a competition to try and win some vouchers for a local clothing company. They have a competition whereby the best photo that has someone wearing one of their tops wins £100 in vouchers. I have one of the prerequisite tops and need to come up with some clever photo opportunities.
One that I have come up with (but is starting to look a little difficult due to weather) is getting myself out to one of the special marker bouys a couple of miles out to sea near where my parents live. I have access to boats (topical too, as the clothes are along the same sort of lines as Jack Wills/Fat Face). Something like this...

Does anyone have any other ideas? Doesn't have to be nautically related, but can't involve a huge budget. I have until christmas to enter.
So, PH, I put it to you for your suggestions

Looks slippery!
I don't have a pic of the one that I would be using, but its much nicer and cleaner than that one!
Anyway, I am born of the water, and have been playing about on these and generally causing a nuisance out and about since the day dot!
For some reason, that one looks scary though...hornetrider said:

My only suggestion is not to bother Im afraid.
Far too much effort for a mere chance to win £100
If something's hard to do, it's not worth doing. Far too much effort for a mere chance to win £100
No matter how good you are, there are always a million guys better than you. So if you can't win, don't try.

Don't mind putting effort in. £100 is a lot to me, at the moment. Far too much effort for a mere chance to win £100
It will be a lot of effort and presumably cost to take a photo at that buoy.
Chances are that you won't win anyway.
And even if you do, it's only clothes.

The only shop selling these clothes is somewhere I have bought from before and the owner and I know each other by sight. I asked him about it and he said that they had had precisely *no* entries so far, and that if I were to enter, based on the lack of interest, I would be in for a very real chance at winning.
It's only clothes, yes. But I wear clothes. I am saving money every which way I can at the moment, and to have £100 towards some clothes that I like would be most useful.

I wouldn’t be surprised! To reiterate, I am willing to put effort in. Effort costs me nothing, clothes cost me something. It’s as basic as that in my eyes!
Get to work PH! I need some ideas please! I am thinking things like up Snowdon, in some sort of action shot with some unusual machinery (cars, planes, boats), or anything that just stands out a bit.

Thinking outside the box here. Why not put one of their tops on and nothing else, get a boner on, and just point at your willy with one hand and do thumbs-up with the other.
Should win.
Like it, like it. <PH mode>But, please, think of the children! <PH mode>Should win.

Pah, you bunch of misery guts!
It's fun to challenge yourself to do something, even if it's for not-much-gain.
Well done, Mr Hetherington, for getting into the spirit of things! I am also treating this as a bit of fun, and the opportunity for a bit of mischief/childish behaviour. It's fun to challenge yourself to do something, even if it's for not-much-gain.

Outfall mark. Nice.
Indeed! If I could get a photo of a bit of poo floating past, all the better
