I finished my City & Guilds level 3 photography course this summer and got my certificate in the post today. Really enjoyed the course, have learned so much and got to try all sorts of things that I probably wouldn't have otherwise, such as fashion photography, darkroom and playing with medium and large format film cameras.

These are the images I submitted for my 2nd assessment:

So, as per the title of the thread, anyone recently finished a course (or are part way through) and post up some pics too?

Properly good pics these, super visual interpretation of the drinks, makes we want to stroll down the pub forthwith.

Well done! Liking the pics. I did a C&G cert a few years ago and really enjoyed it.

Thanks for the comments smile

After 3 years of attending college every other Saturday it's going to seem odd not going any more.

If you don't mind me asking, what course did you attend?

I'm half-way through a Foundation Degree (can't wait for term to start). The best bits have been finding new photographers to study, getting back into the darkroom and working with medium and large format stuff. My style has definitely changed over the last year; I'm now thinking more in terms of bodies of work, rather than in single images, so it's sometimes difficult to find things to post here, since many of my pictures are now intended to be viewed together, rather than alone.

A collection of pictures I've taken so far is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/major_bloodnok/collec...

and my first-year portfolio here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/major_bloodnok/sets/7...

(17 images, so I won't post them in full).

On to the second year, and the real work...

I did City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Photography (1 year) followed by Level 3 Certificate in Photography and Photo Imaging (2 years) at Bracknell and Wokingham College.

O/T I used to live just south of Wokingham in the 80s... (Finchampstead) Is the pub there still any good? Many happy evenings there.

Thanks for that. I intend to make the most of it while it lasts; the need to start earning some of the folding stuff will come up pretty soon.
