And in all honesty was a little disappointed.

Not much doing I thought. Perhaps I was expecting too much but just to drive past a lion and rhino wasn't terribly thrilling. The beautiful tigers were all penned in and fast asleep at the back (and yes I was at the park for 5 hours!) and they didn't move all day.

Anyway, a few pics for your amusement. Playing around with the 70-200 f2.8 really to get to grips with it.

It did amuse me how many spaccers went through the monkey enclosure then sat there horried there cars were being destroyed. I felt sure this little fella felt bored with just eating windscreen wipers and wanted something else . . . .

Anyway, on to the tiggers! I really did just want to get out and pet one whilst saying, "who's a pretty boy", but the misses felt I shouldn't. Spoil sport frown.

Got plenty more to go through at the moment but these were the ones that seemed to stand out a bit.

No need to feel disappointed with the quality of the pics even if the day out was a bit of a let down smile

Finally got around to going through a few more of the photos I took.

Lions really do look better in black and white! Much more moody.

I’ve been twice, and don’t think I'll be going again. What where you doing for 5 hours!

Taken at Knowsley SP a few months ago.

First round was with me stuck in the back trying to take pics through the window in the back not very sucessfully. A spot of lunch and the Mrs was kicked out of driving seat for second round so I could drive and stop to take pics when I wanted. Mrs and kid were fed up by the end of it!!!

Shut up love I'm taking photos. If you want to get out you can but that rather large tigger may thinkg, "hmm, dinner, with a rump that size!".
Needless to say I got a slap!
