I'm surprised there isn't more about lomo on here. But then they do use film so are the preserve of the kind of people who still listen to 45s. Anyway, I bought my fisheye off a friend for less than it cost to buy and develop the film. This is what I have got.

What I really love is the "st" on the film you just don't get with digital, the noise, scratches and graining. So what lomo have you got? show us ya pics!

Still on the first roll, but I just picked up onje of these

Completely crazy - no viewfinder, fixed at F8 1/100 and you're not really sure what you're going to get

If I am honest I would love to buy one. But a roll of film around here costs £6 developed. Then £2.99 to digitise it. £9.99 for maybe some st.

Can't afford to waste that much. I try and replicate what I can in photoshop.

E.g - Not fisheye, the holga / lomo bit ... I'd give a nut for some fisheye goodness

There is a girl that uses one of those that develops her films at my work. Its 4 lenses with 4 shutters that are actuated independently. So you end up with a 35mm frame with 4 individual photo's on it.

Aye, I'm planning a documentary type shoot idea that involves a surveillance feel, could be doable in PS digitally or on an iphone but fancied something a bit different

I had a lomo fisheye, hated it with a passion I just couldn't get along with it at all. It only works on subjects up close and the lens obscures the flash - annoying. Without doubt I was at fault rather than the camera, but I won't let that stop me mouthing off.

Sold it, to a mate, who has never used it!

I also have one of these which I don't use nearly enough - I've got loads of cheap chinese film I keep meaning to shoot and develop in caffenol:

Finally - I have one of these which I love! Even did an exhibition of my work!

Got a Holgo too... very enjoyable camera when you get it right, but the photos where you DON'T get it right are the ones that make the rolls worth developing! smile
