I've sort of had to work this out for myself but...
Click through to an image then right click on it (this works on mac, not sure of pc) this gives you the sizes option. Select the size you want and it's displayed. Right click this new image and copy the image location then paste that inside img tags. Voila!
Easiest way I can find with the new system.

Click on share this, then chose the size of pic you want.
Then get the HTML link, and delete most of it.
The bit you want looks like this,
http: //farm5.static.flickr.com/...............jpg
Then insert it between [pic] [/pic]
Thats how I have ended up doing it.

Yep that's how I do it. They have right bodged it up.Then get the HTML link, and delete most of it.

FlickR have got rid of the old style completely now.
Absolutely hate the new settings as it is so hard to just grab the image location to post.
Will be sending a snotty message to them soon. Hopefully if enough do this then they will get the message.
I can't see any benefit in the new system at all.

Me also....
They seem to have done all possible to make it difficult to link to a single image.
I'm a bit of old fashioned privacy freak, and I guess I don't fall into the profile that Flickr are trying to tailor their site to. I don't want to share my life with everyone by all means available. I want control over who sees what and how. I used to share 'sets' via guest passes, and this functionality seems to have also changed in some inexplicable and unfathomable fashion - apparently in the name of something that is supposedly of benefit to me.
Time for a move I think.

The problem IMO is that pistonheads' homebrewed forum software uses "bbcode" style markup, but with some bizarre deviations like the url tag which works differently from everything else I've ever seen.
The flickr update makes it very easy to post pics on every other forum/messageboard I use (Share this > Grab the HTML/BBCode > BBCode > copy & paste into post), in a way that actually complies with flickr's terms and conditions. Swiping the plain image URL and posting that in a way that doesn't link back to flickr is a bit naughty really - and they've been cracking down on people who do.
If you want to complain to anyone, get PH to support the common usage of the url tag alongside their strange one. Funnily enough, a commercial organisation that provides a free service actually want some browser traffic to come their way, not just to be a thankless image host for the world's pictures.

I tried to post a picture earlier and it seemed as though I was being asked to change my privacy settings. They seem to have done all possible to make it difficult to link to a single image.

I'm a bit on the old side to understand whats happening when something I've used is changed without a guide to get to grips with a new formula.
Thats whats pissed me off the most TBO.
