My little trip to China

As some of you may know I've spent the last three weeks with my family in China. It was just brilliant, it exceeded every single expectation I had. We have friends that live in Beijing so spent the first week with them and then flew/drove to the other parts we visited such as: Shanghai, Guilin, Yangsho, Ping'an (there may be some spelling errors there). But it was the most fantastic trip, I liked it so much I really would jump at the chance to work out there in years to come.

Anyway here are some photos I got out there. C&C would be most welcome.

I should point out, my aim with these photos was to try and capture China, I didn't bother with the touristy shots that everyone else there takes, except the odd case where it really was too stunning not to.

Anyway enjoy, I might do a little write up about the trip in the travel forum at a later date, so look out for that.

Lovely pics, great to read of the positive experience.

I did part of my honeymoon in China a few years ago and didn't have such a great time.

Any chance you can link the write up from this thread when it's done? Don't go into the travel forum much.

I'd definitely be interested in a write-up in the travel forum. Would be interested to know how you found the place. I was there in 2008 and plan to go back very soon. A fascinating country
