New lens - Tamron AF 7- 300 di

On hols at the mo, and my beloved has just brought me the above lens... not had a chance for a proper road test yet... but looking good so far... only went in the shop for ND filter!!

been using the lens happily for a couple of days, and suddenly "error 99" randomly appears (only with this lens) can resolve by removing the battery, and sometimes its fine for a while sometimes goes again after one shot.. any thoughts anyone?

just managed to get this when the arrow flew past my flat... damn lens error 99'd after this shot though....

if anyone needs an Error 99 fix.. this apparently works...
