Hiked the Kepler last weekend, was supposed to be absolutly horrid weather but turned out perfect with a dusting of snow for the Alpine section, so heres a few pics...

The boat over the lake to Brod bay ( time preasure meant we couldnt walk from te Anau) , not my shot , I'm on the left...


I didnt get any of the 1000m climb up to Luxmore hut so the rest are from the night or next day.

What was the exposure on the astro shot?

Cheers, exif should be in , f3.2, ISO 1600, 30 sec, 17mm, 7D.

No filters for any of these. Dark broody skies are because of dark broody clouds..

Nice shots, 3 & 4 are my favourites. Looks like you had a good trip, had to chuckle at 'alpine section' though! wink

Very nice set Rob, looks quite a trek! # 12 is my fav as the person in shot gives the scene some sense of scale. All ace though. smile
