VW Beetle Shoot
Discussion
A friend of mine runs a local car enthusiasts site which I like to get involved with when I can, and we are starting to get pictures taken of members cars in order to do features. Just thought I would share a few of this lovley VW Beetle.

Good location fella, I'd like to see alitte more light on the car though.
One that stands out to me is the portrait of the front, if you'd moved the car to the left 3 foot of the door would have been a winner for me.
All in my opinion of course.
EDIT
Also without some flash maybe a half and hour earlier in the day, also there is some blue tinting to the chrome.
Other than that im being picky there great.
PS
Good look with the features.

Good effort I like number 3 the light on the car is nice and even. Agree with what Pixel Snapper has said.

Very nicely done - alot of positives to take from those shots smile
I especially like 3 - I had a play about (if you dont mind...) Probably not an improvement, just a different take on things that may benefit you smile Really like the depth of field you have used and the car is lush...

Wow, thank you for the feedback and tips.
Pixelsnapper - I agree, more light was needed on the car, I would like some of them stand alone lights but too far out of reach money wise and it was later on in the evening, 7.30 to be precise, the sun soon disappeared that night, probley due to the cloud forming.
As soon as I opened my images, I though the same about the beetle's positioning. A friend of mine was also doing some pictures and we kind of kept getting in each others ways, so would be good to be alone with the car. Also, the lad that owned the Beetle, I didn't really know that well, so felt a bit uncomfortable in askin him to re-position the car.
tati25 - Thankyou very much sir, it's always appreciated. The car was lovely through out.
Nick - Great pictures as always! Very nice looking beetle, pulls off those accessories well. I know quite a few beautiful women like the lady you used, the only difference is that when I ask for assistance, they automatically assume Im wanting "different" photographs, I have no idea where they get that idea from
.
John - Feel free editing some of the pics. A photo speaks a thousend words as they so what better way to show how I could of done my post processing differently. What did you do to achieve this? I wouldn't mind a go myself, as I quite like the 'moody' feeling it gives.
Thanks guys!
ETA: He has added the feature to the site now, SEE HERE. The pictures are a mish mash of a friends and mine.

No worries pal.
Lighting wise, there are ways to add some kit to your bag, I managed to pick up 3 canon 430EZ flashs for £100 of talkphotogaphy's classifieds. These are a model behind the current 430EX flash that canon do, couple them with some cheap ebay triggers and the all in cost was about 150notes, not a great deal when you think a current model flash will set you back at least £200. Now the only draw back to this methord is that you cannot use them in auto mode. However it does teach you to how to manually setup flash exposures.
Same for nikon I would imagine.
