Studio Photography Samples
Discussion
Hi, I'm about to do a few studio photos of products, mainly books. I have some ideas on what I'd like the finished image to look like, but if anyone knows of any excellent studio photographers with websites where I might get some insipiration, any links or pics would be appreciated. I'd like the white back drop thing, but not just item floating in white space. Some nice shadows, arrangements etc. Maybe even a black backdrop. If anyone has examples of their own still life photos I'd be interested to see them, and also let me know what lighting kit your using. Thanks.
I'm shooting mine later cliff, I'll be using a large reflector cover thats white to give a little texture, i'll prop the back up so it has a curve, and i'll light it with one or two lights through a diffusion panel. I also have a bit of foamcore in black, white and grey if needed.
I'll update with shots when i've done it.
I'm not that studio savvy but i shot this about 18months ago using the same technique.

I presume your Queesnberry stuff arrived.
Matt.

Yeap, Queensberry stuff has arrived. Looks stunning. In the process of making up my own sample book now. Have just commission the programming of my new website, hence need to take some nice new sexy pics of my client albums and the sample albums. Will drop you a line later about your contact for some new gear. Hope all's well your side.
