Brands Hatch - Photo Locations
Discussion
Ok, me and a few mates are heading down to watch the BTCC on the 1st and 2nd of May. I have never been to the circuit before and was woundering if anyone had any pointers for where's best for photographs. My lens isn't particularly big (oo err) it is simply an 80mm-200mm and is also a film SLR lens (works great with my pentax k10d). Is the track spectator/photographer friendly?
Regards, James.

Yep, druids, I was shooting with my 24-105 there last year.
You can also get close on the top end of the GP loop, minter straight/dingle dell/sheene curve. Be prepared for a walk though, especially when you want a coffee as there is nothing over that side

Spent all day inside at Druids on Monday . . 450D with Canon 70-200 F4L
Inside Druids
Also out at Westfield, Sheene Curve and the exit of Surtees onto the back straight are favourite locations. I'd post some more, but the other laptop died with them on and they're being recovered by a genius I know, so he's also got my back up hard drive as well.

This will help. It's for the Indy circuit, but there are some good angles to be had on the GP loop as there's not much fencing. Don't miss out on Stirlings, you can get a great shot there.
The three races will let you move around a bit. The inside of Druids will get pretty crowded and you'll have the same shots as everyone else.
