OK i'm off to RAF Conningsby on Thursday to try out the new cam. I have a 18-55 and 55-300mm lenses.

Advice and tips gratefully recieved ! Remember this is the first time I've used a DSLR in anger.

I'll post the results when I get back good or bad. Probably all bad !

Put in in continuous focus mode and multi-shot mode (rather than single shot) and probably A-priority at about f5.6. ISO 200.

If you're taking shots of prop-driven aircraft you might want to slow the shutter slightly to blur the prop-rotation.

Thanks Lee i'll study those tonight ! Anyone have any magic secrets to get the underside of aircraft nicely exposed ?
