If anyone needs to get digi prints printed properly try these sites I have found.

www.fotobox.co.uk - Excellent speed, decent website too.
www.ofoto.co.uk - A little more time to deliver for a little more £.
www.fotango.com - start from 6x4 @ 47p!
www.fotoinside.co.uk - from 10p per print or 14p per 6"x4", definitely value for money

If you use any of the above or others, let us know what you thought of them. Most of these sites give free prints to new signups too.
Yes, I have stopped printing photos on my PC printer since I have seen the quality difference.

Pricing:
The cost of quality prints from digital images is dropping:
6" x 4" 16p (or 14p when ordering 25 or more of similar size).
7" x 5" 28p (or 22p when ordering 25 or more of similar size).
8" x 6" 47p
12" x 8" (10" x 8") 95p

Price examples delivered from www.fotoinside.co.uk
25 prints 5” x 3.5” only £ 4.71 (Fotobox na)
150 prints 6" x 4" cost only £23.21 (Photobox £ 37.50)
8 prints 12" x 8" (10" x 8") cost only £9.81 (Fotobox £ 15.50)
(based on price comparisonby www.pricerunner.co.uk).

Support
I only have experience with Fotango support (took a week to answer) and FotoInside (took 5 minutes on a Sunday!!).

Fotango vs FotoInside

Catapa, thank you for the interesting comparison. I have only used two of the services you mention: www.fotango.com and www.fotoinside.co.uk .

- 150x 6"x4" Fotango £ 37.34 vs FotoInside £ 23.21
- 50x 8"x6" Fotango £ 44.84 vs FotoInside £ 25.71
- 8x 10"x8" Fotango £ 21.26 vs FotoInside £ 9.81

Having used both services I liked the shiny but real colours from FotoInside and for me can't see any reason to spend more on photo printing. But I am also still amazed about hundreds of my compressed digital image files still being stored at Fotango years after I ordered any prints. Wonder for how long they are going to do that.

Ditto never use my inkjet nowadays.
I use the Print@Net service from www.jessops.com

15" x 10" for £1.99 on high quality Fuji paper.
Offline order collation and precise contol of print size and edging is a real bonus (no unwanted cropping).

Turn around is typically 3 or 4 days, worst I have experienced is a week.

For those who saw my mini-exhibition at Gang on the Green, all those prints were printed using Jessops. Quality and colour richness is superb!

photobox came top of the uk reviews for online printers. Sent one of my pics there, for an 18x12, stunning.

And they've got a discount on during February. Very good stuff.

This was the pic I got printed:

Luca, I see you put some filters to good use in the end. What did you do?
Car stands out perfectly. Great rendering.

CAn't take the credit for the editing. I took the original picture, but Bacardi did the re-touching.....see this thread for details of what he did. (3rd page)
